Set within the rocky foothills of Costa Smeralda, our design blends landscape with architecture. Raw materials are intended to patina over time as new gardens merge seamlessly with the existing vegetation. Inspired by Mediterranean villa living, the floorplan forms around introspective courtyards that create meditative spaces and draw light deep into the home.
Architectural elements accompany a functional workspace at the centre of the plan. A sculptural in-situ concrete wall, marked by its formwork, establishes a dramatic backdrop to the kitchen, while stone benchtops will develop a rich character through daily use. Full-height glazing framed by elliptical Oak columns allows the concrete flooring to extend outdoors, strengthening the visual connection between spaces. A detailed yet minimal approach places emphasis on strong visual elements and a refined materials palette.
